Unfortunately faced with deep budget cuts, the US Air Force stopped all public aviation support and, effective April 1, 2013, the Thunderbirds’ 2013 show schedule was cancelled … including their show in Cheyenne. The Thunderbirds have been a part of CFD history since their first public show was performed here in 1953 and we are confident they will soar again over Cheyenne once the budget crisis is resolved.
