Trick Riders

The Fast & Furious are a trick riding duo from Lingle, Wyoming.  Sisters, Kellie and Kim Walters teamed up at a young age to create a one-of-a-kind trick riding show. What else would two cowgirls from Wyoming do with fast running horses?


Matched Horse Racing

Watch as grudge matches unfold in this horse race, culminating in the Championship race on Saturday. The winner goes home with a horse trailer from Steel Creek Trailers. $50.00 entry fee. 24 racing slots, first come, first served.

Wild Horse Race

When the starting gun fires, the cowboy chaos ensues. A half-dozen teams of three each attempt to saddle and ride their unbroken horse around the track. A crowd favorite!

Mare & Colt Racing

The Dinner Bell Derby - The mares and colts run each day from Saturday to Saturday during the rodeo. This is a favorite of the attendees of CFD. Entry fee will be $15.00 per entry for each day entered. All Entry fees will be added to a daily purse of $175.00; distributed as 1st place 50%, 2nd Place 30% and 3rd Place 20%. This is a great event to get the youngsters involved in the Daddy of them All - Cheyenne Frontier Days!

2007 saw the first ever entry of a miniature horse (Fudge) and her colt (Ace). They were honored with the first ever Miniature Horse Award.
