Cheyenne Frontier Days Adds Two More Nights of Entertainment, Tickets on Sale 1/11
Cheyenne Frontier Days will open sales for two more concerts on Friday, January 11 at 9:00 a.m. They are as follows:
- July 23: Blake Shelton and Kellie Pickler, $19 - $38
- July 24: Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert, $19 - $38

Blake Shelton's latest album, "Pure BS," showcases Shelton as a powerful and expressive vocalist while also showing off his impressive songwriting skills on three of the tracks. To get the "pure" sound, Shelton pushed himself harder than ever before as a singer and as a writer and stepped out of his comfort zone in the studio to work with some first rate producers who pushed him even more. The end result, Shelton believes, is his best album to date, and on that has already spawned the hit singles, Don't Make Me and The More I Drink.
Kellie Pickler was a contestant on the fifth season of American Idol, where she made it all the way to the top six before being voted off the show. By the next week, she had secured a record deal which has yielded the hits Red High Heels, I Wonder and My Angel. Pickler says of her experience, "What I've learned the last year is that no dream is too big... You should always give yourself the benefit of the doubt."
Jason Aldean has come along at a time when new artists in country sometimes struggle to be heard. He has recently broken through a crowded field, capturing the Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Male Vocalist and earning a gold album just 12 weeks after his debut's release. Aldean followed up his hit single Hicktown with Why, a ballad that rang the bell at #1 on radio and Coutry Music Television. Aldean released his second album "Relentless" in May.
Miranda Lambert is enjoying success with her second effort "Crazy Ex Girlfriend," which debuted at #1 of the Nielsen SoundScan Country Chart and #6 on the Top 200 Albums Chart with nearly 53,000 copies sold in the first week. The album also entered the country digital albums chart at #1. The number on debut is the second for Lambert, with her critically-acclaimed and platinum-selling debut album "Kerosene" also hitting number one the first week on the charts in 2005.
