GENERAL

Are pets allowed within the park?
Animals are not permitted within Frontier Park with the exception of certified service dogs for the disabled.

How early can I show up for the rodeo and entertainment?
Seating begins one hour prior to the event start time. You may take your rodeo seat starting at noon each rodeo day, and your Frontier Nights Entertainment seat beginning at 7:00 p.m.

How old does my child have to be before I have to buy a ticket for him or her?
All persons over 2 years of age will be charged full admission. For comfort and visibility during night shows, we recommend seating for children, rather than SRO (standing room only.)

Can I bring my camera to the rodeo or Frontier Nights events?
Still photograph cameras are allowed on the park. Per PRCA regulations and entertainer contracts, no recording devices are allowed for the rodeos or night show entertainment. Video cameras/phones are not allowed at the concerts or rodeos.

Can I bring a cooler into the park?
No outside food and beverages are allowed on the park. Small soft sided coolers no larger than 14" x 14" x 14" are allowed.

Where can I drop off and pick up my children?
Curbside, along 8th Avenue between gates V-4 and V-3. Look for the signs.

What time do the parades start?
Parades start at 9:30 a.m. sharp.

Are the Thunderbirds appearing at CFD™ this year?
Yes, the Thunderbirds have performed here every year since 1953! The Thunderbirds show takes place at the Laramie County Community College on Wednesday during CFD.

Will there be Chuckwagon Races at CFD™ this year?
No, the Chuckwagon races were discontinued after the 1999 performance.

Can I bring a stroller onto the park?
Yes, strollers are allowed on the park, however they can be very difficult to take into the grandstands. They are not allowed in Standing Room Only areas.


What are our ticket policies?
All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. Tickets cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. Tickets can be damaged by exposure to heat or sunlight. All persons over 2 years of age will be charge full admission. The resale of tickets for more than the printed price on the ticket is prohibited. Per PRCA regulations and entertainer contracts, no recording devices are allowed for the rodeos or night show entertainment. Video cameras/phones are not allowed at the concerts or rodeos. All dates, times and entertainers are subject to change. Such changes do not constitute reason for refund or exchange. This is an outdoor arena. Shows go on rain or shine. Standing is not permitted in seating areas. Seating access is only to location as stated on ticket. Smoking is permitted in designated areas only. Where do I park?
Public parking is available, as space permits, on Frontier Park for $15 and additional parking can be found at our Park-n-Ride location off of Happy Jack Road for $8; no re-entry to any parking locations without full payment. All parking is handicapped accessible; handicap buses are available at the Park-n-Ride location. No overnight camping permitted at Frontier Park. Parking lots are locked at 1:00 a.m. CFD assumes no responsibility for damage to vehicles from fire, collision, or theft. Park-n-Ride opens each day at 10:30 a.m. except on the first Friday, it opens at noon.

What security procedures should I be aware of?
Security procedures are subject to change at any time. Each person may only bring in one bag, purse or fanny pack, no larger than 14" x 14" x 14". All items are subject to search. Hard-sided coolers are prohibited. No bottles, food, beverages, weapons or laser lights. Animals are not permitted within the fenced area of Frontier Park with the exception of certified service dogs for the disabled. Cameras are allowed on the park. Per PRCA regulations and entertainer contracts, no recording devices are allowed for the rodeos or night show entertainment. Video cameras/phones are not allowed at the concerts or rodeos. Some areas may require you to be 21 years of age and have valid ID.

PARK INFORMATION

Frontier Park

First Aid Station
The Frontier Days First Aid Stations are located on the west grandstand (C Stand) near Portal 7, and on the south end of the east grandstands.

Lost Children
If you or your child become lost, chances are good we will have him/her at the Black Diamond Security Office located at the south end of the exhibit hall, (307) 778-7238.

Special Needs
Individuals requiring assistance with parking or seating are requested to contact the Cheyenne Frontier Days Ticket Office in advance at (307) 778-7222. A designated parking area is set aside near the Ticket Office (B-Lot). Volunteers are ready to assist with transportation.

Park-n-Ride
Take advantage of the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Park-n-Ride service, located just off Interstate 25 and Happy Jack Road (Wyoming 210) south of Frontier Park. A quick five minute bus ride takes you directly to the celebration! $8 per carload, and includes gate entry. More info...

Bus Parking
Access will be along 8th Avenue.

Pancake Breakfasts - Monday, Wednesday and Final Friday.

From the West you may also park on 21st on O’Neil near the civic center by the Municipal Parking lot

Rodeo and Night Show Parking
Parking is available along 8th Avenue.

Tow Lot
Please avoid "No Parking" or "Tow Away" areas. Should your vehicle be towed, it will be located east of Frontier Park (across Carey Avenue) at Lions Park. If your vehicle is towed only cash is accepted to retrieve your vehicle. To confirm your vehicle is in the tow lot, call (307) 778-7265.

NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING PERMITTED at Frontier Park. Parking lots are locked at 1:00 a.m.

Product Locations
Genuine CFD Gear may be purchased at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum Gift Shop, or on the park at the following locations: Behind B Stand, east side of the Exhibit Hall, behind M Stand, and on the second level of the East Side Stands.

Concessions
Fresh Connection will provide a wide variety of palate-pleasing drinks and food items at concession areas throughout the park.

Exhibits
The exhibit area will feature more than 200 exhibits, with a wide variety of merchandise and specialty food items together with Official CFD products & souvenir items. Exhibits are located in the Exhibit Hall, under B Stand, Wild Horse Gulch, Indian Village, and on the Avenue of the Rodeos. Open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. except final Sunday closes at 6 p.m.

Guest Relations
We offer a group of information specialists who welcome our visitors to CFD. Our friendly Howdy Folks & Howdy Wagon Volunteers are available at various locations to help you. The main information booth is located at the main gate, north of Ticket Office.

Smoke-Free Seating
All CFD seating areas & exhibit areas are Smoke Free. Convenient smoking areas are provided away from seating locations.

ATM Machines
Located at the Exhibit Hall, Ticket Office, the north end of the Indian Village, and at Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum.

Restrooms
Located throughout the grandstands, in the Exhibit Hall, outside the Exhibit Hall on the east side which include handicapped & family access as well as baby changing stations, north of the Public Relations Building, Indian Village, and in the barn area.

Lost & Found
Located in Security Office at the south end of the exhibition hall.

Telephones
No pay telephones are available at Frontier Park.
